Strategia & Sviluppo Consultants (SSC) was born about ten years ago thanks to the sound experience and foresight of Fabrizio Zucca and his partners. In the early years, SSC developed its business mostly in Italy, Ukraine and Russia and soon afterwards in Turkey, China, India and USA, strengthening its reputation as a reliable provider of customized management advisory and services.

In 2019 the evolution of global markets, the importance of sustainability, the renewed attention to circular economy have encouraged SSC to move forward and to gather many fellows with diverse the respective and renowned competencies to widen the team of partners and consultants to face the future challenges. Their set of skills, abilities and experience are now available to all our clients' needs.

Fabrizio Zucca
Founder of Strategia & Sviluppo Consultants
Fabrizio Zucca is a Chairman and Founder of SSC. At present, he is an Academic Fellow at Bocconi Business School and Member of the Scientific Committee at Eurispes (the most important independent Italian Thinktank). Fabrizio has been visiting professor in few universities and business schools in Russia, Ukraine and China and lecturer in many international conferences worldwide. He has a working knowledge of Italian, English, French, German and Russian and basic knowledge of Spanish, Chinese and Turkish.

Besides the academic background he has worked for the Regional Government of Lombardy in Healthcare Planning and Healthcare Fund Management, then for ING Bank in Risk management and HSBC bank in Corporate Finance. After HSBC, his last experience as employee was CFO at Robert Bosch GmbH Italy. From 2004 he works as Consultant before setting up SSC in 2010.

EDUCATION
Fabrizio has two higher education degrees in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and in International affairs from Milan State University. He also holds a degree in Projects Development obtained from Milan Institute of Political Studies (ISPI).
Antonio Battaglia
Deputy Head of Finance and Accounting practice
Antonio Battaglia is a Senior Partner with SSC. After a short spell with Arthur Andersen, he decided to continue his professional career by qualifying and working as a Chartered Accountant (since 1990) and a Registered Auditor (since 1995). Antonio concentrated his efforts on tax, corporate and accounting issues while paying attention to his clients' treasury management. He supported his clients in obtaining government assisted funding, provided debt restructuring solutions, economic and financial reporting. Since 1995, Antonio has been involved in structured public finance with the aim of regional development. He is part of the team working on the Territorial Pact for the Catanzaro Isthmus, the PRUSST and the PRU of Catanzaro, Calabria. In 2001, he was appointed a Director of Assindustria Servizi and in 2002 as a Director of Cofidi's Centre of Technical Assistance. Antonio collaborates with Bocconi SDA in the creation of a rating model for risk assessment on the issue of guarantees in favour of SMEs and on bank credit.

EDUCATION
Antonio graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome in 1987.
Luca Brusati
Head of Organisation & Capacity building practice, an expert in Economics and Management
Luca Brusati is a Senior Partner with SSC. Since 2004 he is a management professor at Udine University, where he established and coordinates the Laboratory for Research in Economics and Management, as well as a fellow with Bocconi School of Management. He contributes on a regular basis to the management courses of universities in Austria, Poland and Slovenia as a visiting professor. He works on a regularly in English and in Russian.

Following his PhD Luca worked as an assistant professor of management for Bocconi University from 1996 to 2004; from 1999 to 2001, though, he took leave of absence to serve as a programme manager with WHO Regional Office for Europe in Copenhagen. Over his career, he worked as an advisor for the European Commission, the UN, WHO, UNDP, UNICEF, UNAIDS, the World Bank, OSCE, Eurocontrol, the Global Fund, the Soros Foundation and the Italian Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs.

EDUCATION
Luca holds a Master of Arts and a PhD in Management from Bocconi University in Milan and spent a full year with New York University as a visiting scholar.
Luca B. Fornaroli
Deputy Governance & Compliance practice
Luca B. Fornaroli is an expert in the fields of Compliance, Risk Management and Organisational and HR issues. In the last years he has developed a sound experience in the design and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices, hazard analysis and risk assessment for Food Contact Materials industry and manufacturing and financial sectors, in compliance with Italian and European Law and International standards and certifications (DM 21.03.1973, Reg. EC 1935/2004, Reg. EC 2023/2006, Reg EU 10/2011, DLGS 231/2001, UK Bribery Act, British Retail Consortium, International Food Standards). In the past, he has worked as an Organizational consultant in consumer credit area, in projects related to M&A, Operational Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, anti-fraud procedures, efficiency and TLC. Luca B. is an expert of the organizational criticality in SMEs and a teacher in professional and management courses for SMEs, MNCs and institutions. He is member of the board of AIBO - Associazione Italiana Business Operators and a member of Sustainability and Technical Commissions of Italian Institute of Packaging.

EDUCATION
He earned a BSc (with Honours) in Politics and International Relations and an LLM (with Merit) in Law and Development (University of London).
Sébastien Couppey
Deputy Head of IT and Data Analytics practice
Sébastien Couppey is a Senior Partner with SSC. Since 2003 Sébastien provides his IT infrastructure expertise to large International organisations which need to maintain and deliver IT solutions and services in Europe. In 2006 he relocated to Milan to continue his career within the booming sector of added services for mobile phones and big data analytics for large retailers.

Following his experience as an employee, in 2017 he started his own business in IT consulting services and provides expertise in infrastructure projects for trading services and financial institutions. He is engaged in the management of the day to day operated services, IT incident management, the ongoing design and implementation of infrastructure changes and enhancements to ensure the companies meet the required service levels for availability, performance and integrity.

EDUCATION
Sébastien holds a postgraduate degree in engineering awarded by ESEO, a French Grandes Écoles in electronics and computer engineering.
Lanfranco Senn
Head of Strategy & Development practice
Lanfranco Senn is an applied political economist; his fields of competence are urban, regional and territorial economy, transports and infrastructures, water and power utilities. Moreover, he has developed a strong experience in districts development, tourism economy and the impact analysis of public choices. He has been a strategic advisor in public and private sectors: in particular OECD, several Italian ministries, Fiera Milano, Expo 2015, Regione Lombardia, European Union. For almost 30 years he has been the chairman of Clas, a private consultancy group specialised in public projects.

As a full-time professor, he has been teaching for 40 years at Bocconi University, Milan, and as visiting professor in Zurich and Tokyo and he has written more than 180 scientific publications. He has been the Director of CERTeT - Center for Regional Economy, Transports and Tourism. He is an expert of conflictual industrial relations at national and international level and member of the board and of the scientific committee of several public and private institutions.

EDUCATION
Lanfranco Senn has a BSc in Economics (Bocconi) and an MSc in Regional Science (Pennsylvania).
Francesco Sacchi
Head of Banking practice, finance and risk management expert
Francesco Sacchi is a Senior Partner with SSC. Francesco has been working in factoring since 1983. He acquired experience at such companies as Ifitalia, Mediofactoring, Eurofactor, developing managerial career which has permitted him to manage directly the most part of the productive and governmental processes typical to such enterprises and, generally, to the enterprises in banking & finance sector. Performing this professional activity, he managed to develop numerous models of financing of supply chain systems for the benefit of different economic sectors.

Francesco has been Coordinator of the Assifact Legal Commission and a Member of the Council and Executive Committee of the Association during 2005-2008. He has coordinated work groups designated to elaborate the associative position related to all the normative evolutions relevant to the sector (introduction of the precautionary surveillance, risk management, transparency, privacy, usury, VAT, Basel 2, application of the accounting principles IAS/IFRS). Since 2009 Francesco works as Consultant providing companies with administrative and organisational consulting.

EDUCATION
He graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Milan.
Marco Bello
Real estate equity, corporate governance and M&A
Marco Bello is a Senior Partner with SSC. From 1996 to 2000, Marco spent several years working and gaining experience in law firms of primary standing, and from 2000 to 2006 in the listed company Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A.. There, as legal director, he dealt with cross-sectional acquisition operations of real estate equity with special regard to the corporate, contractual and tax aspects. From 2007 to date, he has been working with both Italian and Portuguese investors with various real estate profiles, based in Brazil's Northeast. In this connection he has dealt with technical and legal issues regarding purchase and urban-administrative development of real estate products, social housing residential areas, etc. From 2013 to date, alongside the real estate operations, he has been involved in delocalisation activities on behalf of industrial and non-industrial companies intending to build production sites in the State of Cearà, municipality of Sao Goncalo do Amaranto (Brazil).
Since 2014 he has been collaborating with Il Sole24Ore newspaper writing a column on Brazil and its Northeast.
Since 2015 he is a consultant with Planet Smart City's founders that are building up 330 hectares in Brasil, Cearà of the first world's affordable smart city and of two more affordable smart cities in Brasil, Natal (Rio Grande do Norte) e in Aquiraz (Cearà). Other smart city projects are in Milano Italy (Quartiere Giardino – Cesano Boscone; Santa Palomba Roma and other).

Marco is a co-author of "La Prossima Città", 2017, Mimesis: a real estate book on smart cities.
He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Marco Bello is graduated in Law from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Alberto Trinca
Head of Finance and Accounting practice, an expert in strategic and financial management solution
Alberto Trinca is a Senior Partner with SSC.
Since 2002 he is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and a Registered Auditor. Before completing his MBA Alberto has been introduced to international finance by working for the Investment Services Group of Credit Suisse First Boston in London and by completing an internship program in the Financial Institution Group of Lehman Brothers where he had the chance to deepen his financial modelling and analysis skills.

After completing his MBA in 2003 Alberto started his career as a financial professional in Milan, contributing to the development of BGPS, a start-up of a corporate finance boutique providing an appropriate range of financial services and then working as Senior Investment Manager for Alto Partners, an independent private equity firm investing in small and medium-sized Italian companies, where he was able to execute almost dozen transactions until 2013. Since then, he established NOVAdvisory, an independent advisory boutique working alongside industrial families and managers to support generational transition and growth programs through strategic and financial management solutions.

EDUCATION
Alberto holds a degree in Business Administration from Venezia University and an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan.
Viktor Karagyaur
Expert in maritime industry in Russia and internationalisation
Viktor Karagyaur is a Senior Partner with SSC Russia, Head of Maritime Direction in the Southern Federal District. Viktor is an experienced professional of the maritime industry in Russia. His first experience was as process engineer at the Azov Shipping Company and then as Deputy Head of the Finance Department. In 1993, he assumed the position of Deputy Director of the Russian-German Joint Venture "Don-Elba Sudoservis", created with the aim of providing comprehensive fleet services in the Russian ports of the Azov-Don-Kuban water basin. In 1995, the "Kolgrim-Don" subsidiary was established, serving the fleet outside the port of Rostov-on-Don. Since 2007 Viktor has been the General Director of "Kolgrim-Don". Now Viktor, together with SSC, carries out advisory activities in the field of the international development of companies in the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation, with a specific focus on maritime industry.

EDUCATION
Viktor graduated in shipbuilding engineering from the Odessa Institute of Marine Engineers in 1986.
Marcello Messina
Deputy Head of Banking practice. Risk Management and Asset Management expert
Marcello is a Senior Partner with SSC. He operates in the banking and finance sector since 1978, with a wide and varied experience in both the Risk Management and Asset Management, in various forms of corporate use (loans, leasing, factoring, trade and structured finance), gained in top positions in several Italian and foreign banking groups (BNL Group, Deutsche Bank, Capitalia, UniCredit, Barclays), thus developing a deep knowledge of international markets. He was responsible for the start-up of factoring activities for the Capitalia Group and for those of asset-based lending, including factoring, for the Barclays Group. Marcello was also General Manager of Fineco Leasing and a member of both the Board and the Executive Committee of the Assifact from 2000 to 2015. Marcello speaks Italian and has a working knowledge of English language.

Maurizio Poli
Head of IT and Data Analytics practice, financial modelling & business intelligence expert
Maurizio Poli is a Senior Partner with SSC. Maurizio is also a Senior Lecturer and Faculty Deputy of Decision Sciences & Business Analytics at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is Adjunct Professor of Statistics and Business Analytics at Bocconi University. At SDA Bocconi, he was Director of Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) and he still is Faculty member of many Master and MBA Programs. Maurizio is Director of Post Graduate Program in Business (PGPB) and Executive Program in Business Analytics (EPBA) at SDA Bocconi Asia Center in Mumbai. He conducted numerous research, consulting and training projects and workshops in Europe with the major players in the retail, energy, pharmaceutical and banking industry.

Since 1993, Maurizio is a corporate consultant in data analysis, business simulation, financial modelling, business intelligence and management cost control activities. He has served as Visiting Professor in CBS, Fudan, Anderson UCLA. Since 2012, he is Executive MBA Council member and he was Guest Speaker at GMAC Conference in 2012.

EDUCATION
Maurizio earned a Degree in Economic and Social Disciplines from Bocconi University and the International Teachers Programme from Stern School of Business New York University in 2000.
Giovanni Rossi
Expert in Business Development on Russian market
Giovanni Rossi is a Senior Consultant with SSC Russia. In 1979 he begins his professional experience as a freelance for local companies in the field of event- and project-management with Soviet counterparties. From 1984 till 2005 Giovanni works in Fata Group, with the focus on the USSR market. Giovanni had the opportunity to explore different industrial spheres of the USSR/Russia, such as automotive, plants, metallurgical/smelter, converting sector and packaging production, agricultural sector. In 2005 Giovanni becomes Chief Representative for Russia and CSI in the ITP - engineering and facilities for oil & gas sector. In 2009 he continues his working experience as Chief Representative for Russia at Società Valvitalia S.p.A. Since 2011 he occupies the position of a Business Development Consultant for Russia – CSI market for sectors: oil & gas, automotive, flexible packaging lines. Owing to the professional experience acquired "on the field" Giovanni Rossi has developed a deep knowledge of Russian market in addition to the excellent level of knowledge of the Russian language.

EDUCATION
Giovanni graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Genoa in 1981, with the specialization in Russian language and literature.
Liudmyla Tymoshenko
Senior partner SSC Ukraine, an expert in agribusiness governance and finance.
Liudmyla Tymoshenko is a Senior Partner with SSC Ukraine. In 1991 Liudmyla began working for Agroinvest Group of companies. In 2000, she obtained MBA from MIM –Kiev. In 2005 Liudmyla was hired by the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation as General Director of the European Fund for the Development of Ukrainian Rural Areas. This experience was followed by the position as Managing Director of agribusiness at VS Energy International Ukraine. In 2009 Liudmyla became Financial Controller of the Kernel Holding S.A (listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange). At the end of 2010 Liudmyla started working as a Consultant. First, she worked as Agribusiness Advisor for Erste Group Bank and since 2011 as Agri Banking Expert for IFC World Bank Group. Over the years, Liudmyla has fulfilled other roles, among which a Consultant and General Director on Agribusiness for SGRF, Deputy General Director for Milkiland NV. In her consulting activities Liudmyla is focused on agribusiness, specifically on governance, finance and investigation. In the last few years Liudmyla launched a multifunctional digital platform AgriAnalytica.

EDUCATION
Liudmyla has a Master in Agriculture Economics and a PhD from Kiev State National Agrarian University.
Maryna Anikieieva
Deputy Head of Circular Economy practice, an expert in management with law background
Maryna Anikieieva is an Associate with SSC. After graduation, she worked at Società Dante Alighieri in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of the Italian Embassy in Kyiv. After obtaining a Master degree, Maryna did an Internship at Ogilvy Italy, global advertising & marketing agency, as Assistant to New Business Director, where she was engaged in business development, PR and communication activities. She completed her studies with a course in International Contracts at the New Institute of International Business (NIBI) in Milan. Maryna works on a regular basis in English, Russian, Italian and Ukrainian and has a basic knowledge of French. Lately, she has developed a great interest in the issues regarding sustainability and circular economy.

EDUCATION
Maryna graduated in International Law (with Honours) from Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv (Ukraine). She continued her studies in Milan (Italy) obtaining a master's degree in Communication for International Relations at the IULM University.
Victoria Bulava
Director SSC Russia, an expert in finance and accounting
Victoria Bulava is Associate with SSC and the General Director of SSC Russia. After finishing her studies, Victoria worked as Chief Specialist of the Lending and Private Services Department at JSC Industrial Export Bank (Donetsk branch) followed by experience as Chief Accountant in several companies. Victoria has also launched and managed her own business, a tourist agency "Royal Tour". Since 2015 Victoria has been working as a freelance legal counsellor providing legal entities and individuals with legal services in the field of civil, corporate and international law. Victoria speaks Russian (mother tongue) and has a working knowledge of English.

EDUCATION
Victoria has a Master in Finance, Accounting and Audit degree from Donetsk National Technical University and a Master in Law from Donetsk National University.
Irina Karagyar
Director SSC UK, expert in data analysis
Irina Karagyar is an Associate with SSC. She is a Russian Architect and Urban Planner, and founder of Design B2C Ltd in London.
Irina has over 11 years of working experience developing strategic plans in the Architecture and Urban Planning fields. In 2016 Irina moved to London where she entered Baker Interiors Group to join their business development team in the UK. In 2019 she established Design B2C Ltd in London in collaboration with studio Michele Arcarese Architetto (MAA studio) in Rome, Italy. Key projects include luxury hotels in Europe and the Middle East (Jumeirah, Hilton Hotels, small luxury boutique hotels and serviced apartments). Irina gained expertise on preparing tenders and pitches, particularly for interior design projects where she focused in the business digitalization of processes.

EDUCATION
Irina holds a BArch (Hons) from Southern Federal University Academy of Architecture and Arts (Russia) and a M.Sc. in Urban Planning and Policy Design from Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy).
Dan Li
Business management, finance, risk control and banking expert
Dan Li is Associate with SSC. She has experience in different industries both in China and Italy. Dan started working in a foreign bank in Guangdong as a marketing trainee, to have profound training upon finance, risk control and banking marketing. Then she hopped to another company in Beijing, one of the top electronic anti-fire producers in China, as Marketing Director. Within two years, Dan successfully doubled the original distributor numbers and got the company's business extending to the USA. With the remarkable working performance, she decided to apply for MBA in Peking University in 2010 for further profound study of strategy, marketing and management knowledge. After graduation in 2012, she came to Italy and luckily got the offer of an Italian manufacturer as a China-desk manager for its China entry strategy making. Dan speaks fluent Chinese and English and has a good knowledge of Italian.

EDUCATION
She obtained her MBA degree in Business Management from Peking University in 2012, honoured as Peking University Outstanding Graduate.
