Lanfranco Senn is an applied political economist; his fields of competence are urban, regional and territorial economy, transports and infrastructures, water and power utilities. Moreover he has developed a strong experience in districts development, tourism economy and the impact analysis of public choices. He has been a strategic advisor in public and private sectors: in particular OECD, several Italian ministries, Fiera Milano, Expo 2015, Regione Lombardia, European Union. For almost 30 years he has been the chairman of Clas, a private consultancy group specialised in public projects.
As a full-time professor, he has been teaching for 40 years at Bocconi University, Milan, and as visiting professor in Zurich and Tokyo and he has written more than 180 scientific publications. He has been the Director of CERTeT - Center for Regional Economy, Transports and Tourism. He is an expert of conflictual industrial relations at national and international level and member of the board and of the scientific committee of several public and private institutions.
EDUCATION
Lanfranco Senn has a BSc in Economics (Bocconi) and an MSc in Regional Science (Pennsylvania).
